Stop the Genocide in Gaza Now!

While Biden’s chief envoy struts around the Middle East posing as a ‘media tor’, US imperialism gives the Zionists the green light to continue their genocidal war against the Palestinians and step up the bombing of Lebanon. The UN peace-keeping force in southern Lebanon says it will remain in place despite ongoing, deliberate attacks against its members by the Israelis. UNIFIL also said it has found evidence of the possible use of banned white phosphorus weapons near one of its bases. And the Arab resistance keeps up the fight in south Lebanon and the Gaza Strip. Waves of Hezbollah rockets and drones have hit military targets in Israel, including a symbolic strike on the Israeli leader’s private residence in Caesarea, and an Israeli colonel was killed in a battle with Palestinian commandos in northern Gaza.

Which way forward for the communists following the election?

That was the question posed at a seminar in London this month. The 30th anniversary of the start of the dialogue between the NCP and the RCPB (ML) was appropriately marked by the opening of a discussion that both parties believe needs to be taken throughout the labour movement. NCP leader Andy Brooks, who chaired the meeting at the NCP Centre, welcomed everyone to the seminar at the Sid French library or by video link and the discussion was opened by Michael Chant, the RCPB (ML) leader. The theme was Tasks of the Communists in the Light of the July 2024 General Election, and this is Michael’s contribution to the discussion
